Bialetti Replacement Gasket & Filter for 6 Cup Espresso Maker

Bialetti Replacement Gasket & Filter for 6 Cup Espresso MakerYour coffee maker's seal is gone, your morning's in ruins, you're in despair so what do you do? (other than adding to Starbucks' exorbitant profit margins).

Simple don't throw it out simply replace the seal (and if you like the filter as well) and your coffee maker is as good as new.

Better still, if you already have one of these coffee makers and have had it for a few months, get this set ready for when the seal breaks down.

That way you will never have to go through the purgatory of a day without your expresso fix! And that's a good thing.............

These replacement gaskets are just like the ones that come with your Bialetti. If your coffeemaker is getting hard to seal because the gasket is getting old and stiff, these will restore it to like-new operation.

After a while my stovetop espresso maker started not working on me. Steam came out of the sides, and it wouldn't brew the normal amount of coffee..and it took a long time to brew.

I purchased this replacement gasket and my espresso maker works like a dream now. I put two rubber pieces in it, with the metal part and it's fabulous now!!!

I delayed ordering a replacement for the longest time but my 1990 Junior Express (predecessor to the Moka Junior?) sorely needed a new gasket. Even after checking Bialetti's online sizing guide it was hard to be sure judging from others user comments. Just remember there's a difference in sizing between the stainless steel and aluminum models, so don't judge by only the cup size. Also, 1 cup = 2 oz. for this purpose. If you have doubts about what size yours is just fill with water to the fill line and measure the number of ounces and divide by two for your cup size. I know it's obvious but I thought I'd mention it. This is the easiest way to decide the right replacement to order.

I could have still used it as it was without getting a replacement but the thought of possibly drinking gasket bits wasn't too appealing. Anyway, I ordered this one and scraped the old, grotty gasket off and it fit perfectly. I think with a few usages, the gasket will expand and form an even tighter seal but it seems to work fine after two days.

So now with the three pack, I should be good for another 60 years! I should be so lucky...

This worked fine to replace a gasket that had made it through around 1000 uses over the last 5 years. (And with 3 gaskets to the package, good for another 15 years ;-)

Also, to verify the size (i.e., # of cups) of your Bialetti (I wasn't sure of mine), do a google search on "bialetti gasket sizes" and there's a link to a nice bialettishop page where it lists measurements for all the different sizes.
