Coffee Maker with Travel Mugs and Reusable Coffee Capsule

I had a Tassimo. The pods were expensive and I had the pods that exploded and sprayed you with hot water. Then the T-disks became hard to find.

I saw the Brew1 and the fact it had a fillable pod made me buy it.

1. It takes forever to heat up the water. I have a electric water pot that heats a huge amount of water in 2 minutes. The Brew1 took 3 or 4 minutes to heat up one cup of water. It took so long I thought it was broken at first. It is just a poor heater.

2. I used good coffee and water and the end product was a nasty weak cup of coffee. The same water and coffee produced a wonderful cup using the Melita gravity filter.

3. I ended up spilling lots of water trying to fill up the Brew1 reservoir. It is awkward to fill

Soooooooo should you buy it? Not if you want a quick, good cup of coffee.
