I know it is extravagant to even consider spending this much for a stove-top espresso maker, but this product is worth the price. It is not only beautifully designed on the outside, it is well designed and manufactured on the inside. I have had stove-top espresso makers for thirty years and this one looks and functions better than any one I've had in the past. Considering the fact that I use it everyday and plan to have it for years, I may at some point get over the price multiple compared to other espresso makers.
