NIFTY 36 COFFEE POD SINGLE DRAWER-HOLDS 36 KEURIG K-CUP PACKS

NIFTY 36 COFFEE POD SINGLE DRAWER-HOLDS 36 KEURIG K-CUP PACKSI don't know how this stacks up against the Keurig brand drawer but I would hope for the price difference that it is a little more sturdy.

Cons:

We have a B70 and it barely fits on this from front to back.

The whole drawer unit itself does not lay flat with the machine on straight, so I turned the machine diagonally so that it would not wobble.

The drawer does not open smoothly at all, it is very rough and is probably scraping paint off the bottom of the drawer. I'm hoping after it has been used a million times this will improve.

If you try pushing the thing on the counter the little white rubber feet come out. I'm glad I did it before I lifted the machine onto it because I would not have been happy to dump my new coffee toy over.

I feel like it could be a lot sturdier since it is meant to hold a $100+ coffee maker on it.

There are a couple pros though, that earned the 3 stars:

It does hold 36 k cups. I read reviews on other products that don't actually hold the number of cups that it claims. At least this one really does.

The black color matches the machine nicely.

It gets those bulky boxes of k cups off of the counter. I still have partial boxes to stow somewhere (since I wanted more than 2 varieties in the drawer) but at least I don't have to keep them handy.

All in all I would not buy it again and still might return it. It was cheaper than the other drawers I was finding but I feel like I got what I paid for. Sometimes it's worth a few more dollars to get something a little better.

I had several of the carousel type K-cup holders. When I saw this, I knew I could get rid of those and make more room on my counter. This item does just that. Since my brewer sits right on the top of the "drawer". It is well made and holds 36 k-cups...more than the carousel type. I highly recommend this item.

Wonderful...doesn't take up extra counter space, of which we have very little. Fits under the Keurig easily, leaving plenty of room between the Keurig and the cabinet above. Also holds more pods that the previous carousel type that I had.

I bought a new Keurig coffee maker for my wife and was finding those little pods all over the place. The Grandchildren thougth they were building toys! I intended to mount this drawer under cabinet but it's construction is plenty sturdy enough to have the coffee maker sit on top with great stability. Very well built. Put pods in right side up, up side down ect ect you can fit in an extra 6.

The frame of this is what holds the weight, and holds it nicely. The rest is slightly flimsy. The sides actually are kinda plasticy, and the top is a thin sheet metal. That aside, with my Keurig Platinum it works just fine and it opens without any catching.

While putting in the k-cups, I find that alternating upside-down & top-side-up helps fit more into the track.

Espressione Café Roma Deluxe Espresso Machine with Built-in Grinder, Anthracite Grey

Espressione Café Roma Deluxe Espresso Machine with Built-in Grinder, Anthracite GreyI have purposely waited for more than 3 months since my purchase to write a review, as I wanted to make sure the satisfaction lasted. I chose this model for the features, and for the appearance of being more substantially made than some similarly priced competitor models. It was easy to set up and get started. I do agree that the directions could be more helpful in the "how-to" department for novice espresso makers like me. I put this in my office for the purpose of replacing my daily mid-afternoon Starbucks latte purchase habit. After some experimentation with various beans, tamping pressure, and degrees of grinding, I was able to produce a product that easily rivals what I had been buying over the counter....And for probably .45 .50 per cup! I have found that the temperature varies somewhat from one cup to another, probably depending on my performance as a barista. Since there is not a cup warmer included, I learned to microwave a cup of water in my latte cup while I'm grinding and frothing. I like my coffee very hot, so on the occasion that drink is still not hot enough, I simply stick the finished product into the microwave for 30 seconds (although I'm sure this probably horrifies espresso purists). All in all, a very good machine for the money. Everything continues to work as designed, and clean-up is very simple.

It was easy to set up and get going. I love the bean grinder. The doser is great too. You just have to keep and eye on it, it's small. It makes great espresso the first time. It has a disc to help with that. You can remove it and tamp hard the old fasion way. For the price range it's a good buy. I have 3 different types of coffee makers now. This is my favorite. I use it to make American's each morning instead of brewing a pot in the conventional machine

The first machine we received was faulty. It literally would not pump water through to the coffee. We shipped it back (had to pay for shipping) and then received a replacement about 3 weeks later. The replacement machine does not heat the espresso shots to more then luke warm. But, the biggest issue is actually the plastic water holding bin smells like plastic. It has such a strong plastic smell/taste to it that the steamed milk comes out with a slight plastic taste and smell to it. We have tried cleaning it, dishwashing it, etc but to no avail. I feel like we just threw over $300 out the door. We are past the 30 day return period and have lost interest in trying to fight for a new one. I am now turning my attention towards trying to keep people from buying this poorly designed and functioning machine.

I searched for several hours to determine what unit would best fix my needs. The Espressione Cafe Roma Deluxe had the best price for the advertised features and functions that I wanted. Amazon shipped fast, and I was up and running. The grinder has worked well for me (I use fresh roasted True Blue Espresso blend whole bean from Louisana Roasting Co.) The unit heats up to coffee brewing temp fairly fast, and is ready to brew a Espresso shot quickly. However if you use cold milk for Cappuccino's and Lattes and use the froth function first, as you should get the milk hot before you pull a shot of coffee, you have to cool down the machine before you can pull a espresso shot at the correct temp. This takes using the coffee function and a cup of water running through the filter holder.(Before you put in the coffee.) The only draw back I have with the unit is, if you use cold milk and the froth function, it takes three or four heat cycles to get the milk to 170 degrees. And yes I agree with the other reviewers, the instructions are very much in need of more detail. However if you do some searching on the internet EHOW and others have some great instructions to glean and make your own custom procedures. I have not been to find specific info on the internet about who makes the unit, or who the USA distributor is, but Electra-Craft.com has repair and parts for the unit. Bottom line: My opinion of the unit is for the money spent it is a good product. I give only 4 stars because the steam/froth function operation is inadequate, although tolerable, for the units designed purpose.

I searched all over looking for a dependable expresso/capuccino machine. No reviews were available at the time I purchased this in January,2009. Seven months later the steam arm got overheated and stopped working. While it worked it made a great foam. It was lightly used most of the time so I was shocked when after 6 cups one morning it got overheated. Couldn't find the manufacturer's site where I can send it in for repair. I've been using the Aerolatte stainless steel frother which makes a great froth for my capuccino. I froth the milk after I heat it in a separate pot while the expresso is being made in the Espressione unit. If I knew how well the Aerolatte worked I would have never spent so much money on this combination. I'll never buy a multi-function unit again.

Vev Vigano 8006 Kontessa Oro 6-cup Espresso Pot

Vev Vigano 8006 Kontessa Oro 6-cup Espresso PotI bought this little gem shortly after my Bialetti. I didn't read the full description of the Bialetti and was terribly disappointed when it arrived and found it to be aluminum. Hopefully I won't develop Alzheimer's for the short time I used it until I found my wonderful little Vev. First off when the descriptions say 6 cups or however many cups it is not meaning the standard 8 oz to a cup. It's referring to those small expresso cups which are something entirely different. I think my expresso cups hold about 4 oz's each. Anyway, I wanted to clear that one up as it seems it's not the first time I have seen someone confused over how much these hold. I did fret over the price of this one but it was worth every penny. It makes a fabulous expresso or cup of coffee. I have found it very easy to care for ( I use a handled sponge to get inside it) and it stays out on my stove top because it is really beautiful to look at. I have had no problems with mine leaking and the seal is super tight. I am so glad I found this kind of maker in stainless. These would make great gifts for the expresso lover. Oh, and I also HIGHLY recommend the Aerolatte frother to go along with the Vev. I warm my milk in the microwave for about 15 seconds before frothing and it makes froth comparable to any big coffee chain. Also a great little item for mixing cocoa and powdered drink mixes.

The Vev Vigano Kontessa is a stainless steel stovetop espresso maker. Our previous aluminum bialleti style pot was no longer working correctly and we decided to get stainless steel. This model has a good reputation online. We bought the 6-demitasse size. The first one we recieved had a loose hinge pin that had fallen out during shipping. When I reported this to the seller, Kasbahouse, then immediately responded saying they would ship another top. As it turned out they sent another entire unit. So kudos to Kasbahouse for excellent customer service. The Kontessa is solidly made and works well. Two minor downsides: the hinge design could be better and the threaded connection between the top and bottom is a little difficult for my wife to get tight. Followed all the directions with regard to seasoning the pot: make and discard about 4 to 5 pots of coffee before making a pot of coffee to serve. This worked, because the coffee was delicious. However, be sure to use a good brand of coffee. The grind basket is a little hard to remove from the pot, otherwise the pot is perfect.

I started off really liking my Vev Vigano 6 cup. It's solid and sturdy and makes a good cup of coffee. But I started disliking how hot the handle got, and how I had to use an oven mitt or a towel all the time to lift it off the burner. And when it started to rust.....well, that's what sealed the deal. I'm getting a new coffee pot, and not this kind. It rusts on the inside because of the way the bottom is designed, with that flared base. Water never drains fully, even when I turn the detached base upside down. It started ruining the taste of my coffee, and I'm worried about the metal I'm ingesting with every cup. Buyer, beware.

I own an older Kontessa, with the round ball on top, and bought one of these for my uncle. The picture is of the old style, and still is. When the new style came, I was dissappointed, but he could live with it. When I made coffee with it, it leaked froom the bottom of the pour spout. I had to return it. The build quality is not like my old Kontessa.

Amerihome CFU30 Coffee Urn, 30-Cup

Amerihome CFU30 Coffee Urn, 30-CupTHIS PRODUCT IS ABSOLUTLY BAD. BRAND NEW COFFEE POT IS LEAKING CONSTANTLY. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYBODY.

I chose this item over a well known brand, because it has the stainless steel canister. The dispensing lever broke off in the first 10 minutes of using the product. Their customer service was not much help. Instead of replacing the product, due to their own faulty part, they are sending the part assembly that broke, and I am expected to try and fix the unit myself. I am NOT happy with this solution. I would not purchase from this company again.
