Konitz Coffee Bar Espresso 2-Ounce Cups and Saucers, Set of 4, White

Konitz Coffee Bar Espresso 2-Ounce Cups and Saucers, Set of 4, WhiteJust like this company's cappuccino cups, which I bought at the same time, these espresso cups are wonderful. They're the perfect size and look great, just like something from a nice coffee shop. A previous reviewer noted that his or her cups and saucers weren't uniform and that there were subtle differences between cups/saucers in some details. After reading this review, I was a bit worried, but I don't see any of these problems in my set. This review is about 8 months old, so I don't know if they've corrected this problem or if that reviewer's issue was a fluke, but based on my set, these are all uniform and identical.

I ordered this just to have something in the house for the occasional espresso. Overall, I am very satisfied with the cups and saucers. They have a solid feel to them. My only complaint is that in the set I received, there are subtle differences in the individual cups and saucers. They are not exactly the same (i.e. handle not the same on all cups, saucers have slightly different cutout sizes for the cups, etc...). It's just minor details, but it's noticeable if you look for it. Overall, I still think they are an excellent value for the price.

I really like these cups. They're just like the ones at my favorite cafes. Not too expensive, good shape / size, and they seem pretty durable.

Very nice product, great quality porcelin cleans well. Has a small raised tip on the inside bottom of the cup to hold espuma foam. Very pleased with the purchase.

I just got an espresso maker for Christmas so I wanted nice cups to drink my espressos in. These are really good and they look really good (they look like cups you would get in an European cafe). However, they are a little small even for an espresso. I use them anyway !

Stansport Percolator Coffee Pots

Stansport Aluminum 20 Cup Percolator Coffee PotThis is one of the biggest size percolators you can buy for stovetop or campfire use, at 20 cups. We also use a percolator outside on our firepit at home. The straight upright shape of this style makes it an easier pot to fit on the limited space of a campstove or RV stove. The company that made this mostly makes camp gear anyway, and that is also why the handles are configured this way, for accessing the pot off a fire. It is very light in weight.

I prefer the stronger darker brew I get from a percolator, and have sworn off drip coffemakers for good. No more filters to buy, it does not have to live on my counter top like a coffee machine, to clock to set, no carafe to break, durable, and very easy to clean. If by chance you ever break a filter basket, you can get replacements and Amazon.com sells replacement glass percolator tops.

If you don't like a few loose grounds, try wetting the inside of the filter basket before you put coffee in it.Now some people are afraid of aluminum pots/pans, and this item is aluminum. There are percolators made of stainless steel if you want a look similar to this one, and there are some beautiful old fashioned enamelware pots sold at Amazon.com too. Aluminum does not rust, but it does dent easy. Enamelware chips, stainless is heavy, you decide.

If you do use this on a fire, I have a trick for you to keep the soot off and make clean-up a breeze. Get a bit of wet soap on your hands, lather up the outside of the pot and let it dry for 2 minutes. The soot goes over this dry layer and just wipes off when you wash it. Overall this is a good value, very foolproof and I recommend.

Watch out with this page as the 20 cup size is on again, off again in availability.

When soldiers, serving in a remote area of Iraq, asked for a coffee pot and knowing they seldom have electricity, I began looking for a coffee pot that could be used on a stove or fire. The Army platoon has about 30 soldiers, so I searched for large coffee pot. Knowing the reputation of Amazon, and having free shipping on many items, I searched at Amazon.com. The coffee 20 perculator arrived in the APO in Iraq about nine days later and has served well. William Hanners, Retired Army

I'm a big fan of percolated coffee. It's the real deal, and puts hair on your chest, as dad used to say. So I bought this coffee pot because it looked rugged and well built. It is, except for one big prob: the plastic bubble on the top is junk. Why don't they make them with a glass screw-in top and charge the extra five bucks? Anyway, the plastic top worked loose in the first two weeks and could not be tightened. It fell off whenever the coffee pot was tipped. My solution was to buy a glass top from Amazon (sold separately) and now I am happy with it. Oh yeah, one other thing, "9 cups" means nine little tea cups, or three or four regular coffee mugs. All coffee makers advertise that way, so that was as expected.

this percolator has no welds that can leakthis is a problem that i have had with past walmart percolators. the weld on the bottom rusted and leaked.

I really like the construction and even though its aluminum and light weight, it does not feel cheaply made at all.

I really like it and would recommend it to others.

Bialetti 9 Cup Moka Espresso Stovetop Coffee Maker

Bialetti 9 Cup Moka Espresso Stovetop Coffee MakerI purchased the 9 cup coffeemaker for my husband who is never happy with the drip coffeemakers I usually buy. He complains that the coffee is not strong enough. Well this coffee is STRONG. Originally this is an espresso maker. I put about 3 scoops of coffee beans into my grinder and then into this little guy, fill the water up to the line, cook on the stovetop for about 10 minutes and I get two smaller cups of coffee. Then I make another pot. I should have bought a bigger size so we could each have two big cups of coffee at a time, but it's hard to know how big these things are and how much they make since all the descriptions are for cups of espresso...very small cups. But it is simple to use and the coffee is strong and robust and my husband is happy. The only complaint I have is it a bit to small-I should have gotten a bigger size. Otherwise, it's awesome!

Frabosk 8 3/4" Induction Heat Diffuser Plate

Frabosk 8 3/4' Induction Heat Diffuser PlateI bought the Frabosk 8 3/4" and the 5 5/8" plate for use with my Electrolux Induction Range.

Pro's: They're very nice looking and very well made

Con's: Although they work, they don't work well. The heat transfer is v...e...r...y sloooooow! I could not get the toast for a grilled cheese to brown. I could boil water slowly. And the handles go through and are unusable while heating which kind of makes the handles useless.

My Frabosk plate worked OK for a while, but after a few month it started to do some crack-like noises.

Then it lost its flatness, and assumed a curbed shape.

Finally its three metal layers started to come visibly apart.

In the long run, you may spend less and have far better results, buying a few induction pots and pans at IKEA.

This plate works well but you will need to adjust your temp. to make sure you have it right, it cuts down the temp just a bit.
