Universal French Press Replacement 4-Cup Glass Beaker

I was in need of a replacement for my 4-cup Bodum French press coffee maker and assumed that the word "universal" meant this beaker would fit ANY 4-cup French press. However, it was too small to fit the Bodum, so I'm now using it for watering potted plants. The S&H of returning this $7 item would not have been worth the effort. It would have been nice if the product description had stated "does not work with Bodum products" or something similar.

I simply want to echo the other review. This will not fit the 4 cup Bodum Press. It is much too small. The Bodum beaker is 3.75 by 5. I've not liked the price Bodum charges, but at least it fits! I was pumped when I saw this price, but "universal" it is not.

As has been stated, this beaker is too small for the Bodum 4 cup 17 ounce French press. Good price, doesn't fit.
