Yama Bamboo Coffee Stir Stick - Contoured Vacuum Coffee Brewer Stirrer

Perfect tool for stirring grounds during brewing coffee in a vacuum pot. Works amazingly better than chopsticks, spatula, spoon, which were all used before happening upon this product.

This is a great stir stick for the Japanese 5 cup Siphon Coffee Pots. It is made of a light colored bamboo and has a very smooth and soft finish. It cleans up easily even when used with coffee leaving no stains on my Yama Bamboo Stir Stick.

The only issue I had and it was a matter of personal choice was that it does not have any holes near the top of the stick to hang on a hood when done.

Not a problem, I broke out my old soldering tool and burned a nice round hole right near the top so I can now hang it with my other utensils.

It is a great stir stick and I highly recommend it.

This item works as intended. I can't really expect more from a stick meant to stir something. Works well. Cleans easy.

It is a bamboo coffee stirrer, there is not much to say. It has no splinters and stirs coffee fine. The coffee staining of the bamboo grain looks nice. It has a good length and a good width.

I bought a Yama siphon a year or more ago (my second one actually) and it came with a plastic stir stick. Which is a great cost cutting measure on their part, but heat and plastic do not mix well. The heat releases BPA's from the plastic and it goes right into the coffee. Terrible idea. This natural bamboo stir stick is the perfect solution. It makes for a great presentation as well. I run a small coffee house and we do alot of siphon coffees. So presentation is everything.
