CBTL from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Beverage System, Americano Silver

CBTL from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Beverage System, Americano SilverI couldn't decide between the various CBTL units, but was sure I wanted a combo espresso and coffee maker. While I wouldn't consider myself a total coffee snob, I do love the good stuff, Blue Bottle, Peets Major Dickason etc. I have been very pleased with this unit after about two weeks of use. I have an excellent true espresso maker, but the difference has been negligible enough that for the time saved and the good quality pull achieved, this is a steal. I was able to find a combo with a hand held milk frother for

Reunion Island RI58551 Extra Bold Fair Trade and Organic French Roast Single Cup Coffee Pods, 16-co

Reunion Island RI58551 Extra Bold Fair Trade and Organic French Roast Single Cup Coffee Pods, 16-countThis is excellent for Senseo if you use a two-pod holder and wet the pod before you put it in the machine. Doing this, I found it to yeild one mug of the strongest coffee I've found. It's my favorite of al the Amazon dark roasts I've tried.

Please note that these pods are not compatible with Tassimo single cup brewers even though they are presented with a Tassimo t-disk search.

This is the lightest coffee I've ever seen, so much so that it was not drinkable. After this disappointing brew I read reviews and tried pre moistening the pods but it had no effect. Using with a Hamilton Beach single serve machine designed for senseo pods. What gives?

Reunion Island Extra Bold Decaf is the best I've tried. One secret is to premoisen the pods before brewing. The coffee is full bodied and tastes great!

SENSEO owners be aware these pods won't fit in your machine. They are just too big for the single pod holder but yet too small for the double pod holder. The standard SENSEO pods have about 7.5-8 g of coffee per pod, these have 10g. I used 10g pods before (e.g. Barnie's 58006 Hazelnut Flavored Single Cup Coffee Pods) which fit if you press them into the holder before you close the lid, but these are just too large.

Siege Automatic Drip Coffeemaker Cleaner

Siege Automatic Drip Coffeemaker CleanerI hadn't cleaned out my Cuisinart Automatic Coffee Grind & Brew coffee maker in years. After trying many home remedies to clean it out, I finally bought Siege Automatic Drip Coffeemaker Cleaner and after 1 use, my Coffeemaker looked as if it was new. The stainless steel could be seen again. I highly recommend this product!

Primula Café Color 6-Cup Coffee Press

Primula Café Color 6-Cup Coffee Press, RedAs I wrote in another review, my old Bodum french press made me irate. Their stupid indestructible carafe cracks when you use hot water in it, and they don't recommend using it without an entirely new plunger made especially for it.

Instead, I bought this beauty. It's light weight, colorful, makes wonderful coffee, and has a carafe that doesn't easily fall out and break. I like that the carafe stays inside the plastic base since it helps provide cushioning when washing it.

Was fairly pleased with this press. the coffee was a little murky, but that doesn't bother me too much, could just be a few fine grounds sneaked through the filter which doesn't fit as tight as it should. Had it about a week when i was sliding the glass part out of the plastic for washing separately, (which has worked fine before) when the bottom buckled and my thumb went through...

Needed a replacement French Press when the glass in my last one fell and broke. Picked this one for the cheap price, even though I rarely buy anything without a ton of good reviews behind them.

Luckily, it turned out to be a good purchase. The pieces are all fully and easily removable and washable. The canister is make of glass, the press is metal and the frame is some sort of plastic. This worried me, since I use boiling or near boiling water to make my coffee.

However, I poured the water in with no problems with the plastic whatsoever, even though the glass being held inside the plastic frame got quite hot.

The press itself worked well. It plunges with ease and keeps out the coffee grinds. The canister is very large and holds 6 "cups" (the French version of about 4-6 ounces, not our American 12oz version). Its easily enough for me to not have to make a repeat portion if I wanted some extra.

I purchased this press nearly a year ago at a price significantly less than a Bodum of the same size. I love it and I'm never, ever going back to a coffee maker.

I bought this French press, when my Keurig was getting old and I was looking for a better cup of coffee without wasting a whole pot. This was small enough for 2 people and if I was alone I could just make half a pot! The selling point was the $13 price tag, which I would normally be concerned about, but it was on sail! I got the package last month and I examined for cracks. I saw on odd mark on the bottom of the beaker, but it looked like a trail of glue, like they glued the beaker to the handle. I finished up the last of my k-cups and then made a fresh pot of French press this morning. That odd mark on the bottom of the beaker, was actually a large crack. I made enough coffee to get to large mugs, but I on'y got one. Most of it leaked out before the coffee finished brewing. Perhaps I should have spent the extra money.

GAT Konica 4-cup Stovetop Espresso maker

GAT Konica 4-cup Stovetop Espresso makerWe went with this because we didn't want aluminum. It's great. It's very solid, heavy-bottomed, well made, the handle remains cool, easy to clean... No complaints!

Was looking for a reasonably priced, stainless steel Espresso maker, that wouldn't break after the second attempt to make a cuppa. It was a present for my mom, who loved it. It looks nice and sturdy, the gasket doesn't smell, the base is wide enough for our gas stove (I was worried as the Turkish coffee pot keeps falling off the rack as its base is too narrow for it). No spills, no burns, just what you need in the morning. Easy to clean, assemble and use. Takes about 5-7mins to make 4 (small) cups of coffee. Would definitely recommend.

UPDATE: it's been more than a year, the Espresso maker still works, even though it's not as shiny as it used to be (gas stove, remember?). The handle feels a little wobbly now, but so far it doesn't give you a hard time to pour coffee without spilling or burning oneself! Would still recommend.
