60 Nespresso Capsules Mixed Flavors New Mixed5

60 Nespresso Capsules Mixed Flavors New Mixed5Do not buy these here. They are twice the cost if you buy from nespresso on their website. Their website is a little tricky but its worth it. You have to join their club. They even ship faster on nespresso's website.

Came quickly, exactly as described and no problem. I am new at this nespresso stuff, but so far so good. I just bought my machine before Christmas as a present to myself and I'm hoping that the machine holds up well. But this seller lived up to all expectations and I would highly recommend them. Priced reasonably and shipped quickly.

Nespresso makes GREAT coffee and GREAT machines. I switched over to a Nespresso machine 7 years ago and have never looked back. I save a small fortune every year by making my lattes at home.

That being said, the Nespresso capsule offers posted here are from a third party who is putting a large additional margin on their price.

You can order the same products online from Nespresso for approx $0.55 each (half the price here).

Love it. This a great combo pack if you like strong, bold espresso at home. I will definitely purchase again.

Odea Go Eclipse Super Automatic Espresso Machine

Odea Go Eclipse Super Automatic Espresso MachineThis is a review by a Coffee Fanatic who has owned several machines, including the $8000 industrial version. I had the Vienna Plus for 8 months and decided to give that away to get the Odea Go.

The Vienna Plus had more water in the dredge drawer.. so much that I first thought the machine was leaking!! Found out that IS the way the machine works.. But the machine was bigger than the Odea, so it had room. I had to clean it out every 6-8 cups made.

The Vienna also allowed me to see the water level, so it was easy to refill.

Now for the ODEA:

Doesn't matter which model Odea you get, they're the same build. I was impressed by the BMW-designed mechanics, so I bought it for the sleeker look. Smaller unti fitted well on the small kitchen counter I have.

MAKES STRONGER COFFEE than other models of Saeco that I've tried/borrowed/owned/tasted. It's able to extract more flavor.

PROBLEMS:

1. The water container is smaller than the Vienna. And the tank is hidden, so you can NOT see when it's time to refill. YOU MUST refill before it's down to 2 cups left, because the light weight will make the sensor stop working. The sensor is not by water, but by weight of water!

2. The coffee lid can't be opened while the machine is ON. The other models can. This is weird.. because I used to be able to refill the Vienna while it's brewing.

3. The dredge drawer needs to be emptied for every 3-4 cups of coffee brewed!! Though it's not really full, the sensor will not let you brew coffee with water in this drawer!! So you will end up cleaning this every 4 cups max.

4. The drawer can't be seen, the spills can't be seen, because of the sleek design, everything is covered. And everything is BLACK, so you can't see whether you've cleaned it very well. Coffee grinds may be hidden in places you can't see... all gray and black plastic!!

WHEN MY NEW MACHINE WAS 5 WEEKS OLD, THE 3 RED LIGHTS FLASHED QUICKLY which means electrical problems. Turning it off and on did not help. Calling the manufacturer, diagnosed over the phone, and ended up to have to replace it with a new one. IT SIMPLY STOPPED WORKING.

I give this machine 2 stars for the great coffee it has produced for us over the last 11 months. Once you find the beans you like, it's just wonderful to enjoy a cup of espresso or latte macchiato in the comfort of your own home anytime. We really love the coffee it makes! However, the grinder broke this morning for no particular reason. The machine is still covered by the warranty but an expensive appliance like this should be able to function much longer than 11 months... '

Like I said, the coffee the Saeco makes is wonderful! I also have to agree with the other reviewer that the water container is very small and that the dredge drawer needs to be emptied fairly often. It's a bit annoying because you don't get any warning and if you are in a hurry in the morning... well, no coffee, if the machine needs some kind of attention.

Was so excited to try this out.... First few days were OK. After a while the red alert display would light up even if everything's filled up. I discovered that the problem lay in the water tank sensor. At first, filling the tank up to the brim would do the trick. After a while, I had to hold on to the water tank (press it towards the machine) just so it won't light up (and stop) in the middle of a brewing session. I was ready to live with this quick fix, if only to make sure that I had good coffee for breakfast. But just yesterday, even this technique wouldn't do the trick. I had to bring the machine to a local (I live in the Philippines) Saeco service center. To my dismay, they only honor Philips Saeco warranties and not Saeco warranties. If only I could return the machine to the seller. But the shipping costs alone would not make it worth my while.

I should have paid attention to the reviews posted by other buyers before I made this purchase.

Update 2/21/13: Got the machine back from the service center yesterday and it worked fine. I hope it stays that way for the next five years or so. :-) Apparently, the sensor was not aligned properly so they just had to adjust it. No parts were replaced.

I love the coffee this machine make! As I developed more and more demanding taste in Espresso I have bought more and more machines. This one is the one make the best Espresso, better than the Gaggia I have.

I do not have the reliability problem as mentioned in two previous reviews. The machine runs fine for almost two years now. I regularly clean the drawer (every 2-4 times of use), and only add water made from a filter pitch. This keeps the machine runs smoothly continuously.

Overall, I consider this machine a very good buy for the money.

Philips Saeco HD8856/47 Exprelia Automatic Espresso Machine, Stainless Steel

Philips Saeco HD8856/47 Exprelia Automatic Espresso Machine, Stainless SteelFinally Philips did what I was expecting: Design a new fully automatic espresso machine at Saeco, the originator of these machines.

The Exprelia is perfect in every aspect. What first strikes me was the silence of operation. Very low noise at every step, grinding, steaming, brewing and cleaning. Compared to my old very noisy DeLonghi Magnifica, it is day and night. The Exprelia is not only fully automatic in making all kind of coffee beverages and particularly cappuccinos, but also in cleaning the milk carafe and everything else. The little screen will tell you what to do at all time. The settings are very easy to adjust and there are plenty of adjustments for all tastes. I was a little apprehensive in buying this machine and be the first to review it, but I trusted not only Philips but also Amazon, both are great company caring a lot for customer satisfaction. Thanks for reading and please excuse my English since my mother tongue is French.

I will update my review in a few weeks.

UPDATE few months after:

Our summer home needed so much fixing that I had not too much time to play with my computer. Regarding the follow-up about my Exprelia I am sorry to say that it started to malfunction after 4 weeks and it broke my hearth to have to send it back. I cannot explain why suddenly the coffee grinds were going at the wrong place. The grinds, instead of falling into the brew group were filling up inside the machine to then appear in the opening to be used to pour ground coffee in order to use a different kind of coffee. I did not realize this right away. My cappuccinos were very weak and hardly tasted coffee. The grinds were continuing to accumulate inside the machine till one morning the machine was so full of unused coffee grinds that they came out like a little volcano out of the top of the machine. I tried to clean up the mess but the grinds were so impacted that it was impossible to take them out. I got a refund and till I decided what machine to get I started to drink my wife horrible coffee which we called in France "Sock juice". Finally after a long analysis of all machines on the market I bought a Gaggia Academia. . To my surprise I noticed that this new machine has a lot of similarities with the Exprelia and I found out latter that Gaggia has been bought by Saeco and Saeco by Phillips. So they are all within the same family of automatic coffee machine. I will soon write a review about my Gaggia Academia.

I purchased this machine for my husband's birthday. BOY...it is unbelievable what this machine does! It grinds coffee beans, tamps them and ejects the used grounds into a bin. It goes into a stand-by mode after 60 minutes of no use, at which time, it uses a small amount of water to clean itself. It is a good idea to keep a cup under the dispenser to catch this. Even if you don't do that, it has a nice large tray which will catch the water, although it is much easier to dump the water from a cup, rinse it and place it under the dispenser than it is to clean the tray. The machine has a nice digital display, which tells you exactly what the machine is doing, when it needs more water, when the grounds bin & water tray inside the machine need emptying, when it is time to descale or clean the machine, etc.

It does take some time to figure everything out, especially removing the insides, cleaning them and lubricating them. If you do not put the tamper back the right way, you can tell because the flow of coffee is down to dripping and there tends to be coffee grounds outside of the bin. Also, the grounds inside the bin will be liquified, rather than a nice, solid wheel of used grounds.

The ONLY downfall to this machine is that it does not hold a significant amount of water, so you have to keep refilling the water bin frequently compared to the 80oz.+ water bin on the Keurig & Breville K-cup machines (which we own also).

You can also used pre-ground coffee if you like in this machine. There is a little door on top of the machine to put the pre-grounded coffee into. This is the same door you put the cleaning tablets in. Another great thing about this maker is that it doesn't take a ton of water to clean like the Keurigs. All it used is about a 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water! The cleaning tablets are rather inexpensive, but the descaling solution is pricey. It recommends descaling every 1-2 months. We use bottled drinking water in our coffee makers, including this one, but you still get the sediment and need for descaling.

The maker comes with extra tubing for the milk frother. The openings at the ends of the tubing are different, to give you different types of frothing. I thought these were extra tubes at first. But after reading completely through the owner's manual, found out what they are really for. We have not tried anything that requires the milk, like the cappuccino. I'm sure it works great, as everything else does!

This thing is so automatic, that all you need do is press a button & you can get Starbuck quality expresso, cappuccino or coffee. The machine even does just plain hot water. There are so many things you can do with this, that the possibilities seem endless.

At first, I was very frustrated with the machine, but in a very short time, I became quite accustomed to its sounds and function.

If you are a serious coffee drinker and would like true expresso, cappuccino or latte', and have some money to throw around, this is truly the machine for you! I am so glad I purchased this for my husband & he sure likes it a lot.

Sorry about the long review, but it is impossible to write a short one on such an elaborate machine.

Nuova Simonelli Oscar Pour Over Espresso Coffee Machine

Nuova Simonelli Oscar Pour Over Espresso Coffee MachineI have this machine Sinne 2 years. It is absolutely Great. I did so my homework before investing into such an extensive machineand i Never regretted my Decission.

The machine has 2 water cicles. Therefor no anoying waiting until the water is hot enough after the first brewing/ steaming for the 2nd step.

Further is this a semi professional machine which means the porta filter has the same measurements than a professional machine.

I also like to point out, that the pressure of this machine is great! Sure, a machine in a café.is more effective, but those are not available for 1000 bucks! This one is absolutely sufficient for all kinds of milk. If you are not sure how to texturise milk I suggest you look it up on you tube to avoid disappointment caused by the operator.

While cleaning the machine I guess I let the pressure build up a little much, or maybe after two years the Teflon tubes are getting weaker, however one needed to be replaced and now I am back to barristering. ;-)

If you want a machine that makes reliably great coffee like you get at you local barrister this is the one!

Get a decent coffee grinder while you are at it.

And be sure to get decent coffee beans!

The only downer : large glasses and most coffee mugs do not fit under the porter filter.

Primula Aluminum 1 Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker

Primula Aluminum 1 Cup Stovetop Espresso MakerI have been using a moka pot for years and have never had any problems. My old moka pot finally wore out and I decided to buy this one. The first time I used it just to clean it out, things worked fine. However, this morning I put it on the stove to make my first official espresso and to my surprise (and somewhat horror), I walked back into the kitchen and the handle had melted off the pot, completely off and had fallen onto the side of the stove (I put the pot on the edge of the burner so the handle doesn't get too hot, so fortunately it didn't fall on the burner). I then went to lift the lid to check and see if the coffee had come through and when I lifted the knob on top it came off! It also had melted through. No coffee came up and both handles melted off. As I mentioned, I've been using a moka pot for years, so I know how they work and how to properly use them. Either this particular one is faulty or all of them made by this company are just terribly poor quality. I'm not sure, but I will not try this brand again and I'm returning the one I have.

I have one PRIMULA ALUMINUM ESPRESSO COFFEE MAKER and my very very bad experience was with the handle. It now is completely melted after four or five uses.

I can recommend this espresso maker without any complaint (also have one for six cups and the big one does not always makes 6 cups because some water is kept in the lower part of the maker but not with the small 1 cup one!)

KRUPS XP5220 Pump Espresso Machine with KRUPS Precise Tamp Technology and Stainless Steel Control P

KRUPS XP5220 Pump Espresso Machine with KRUPS Precise Tamp Technology and Stainless Steel Control Panel, BlackA few weeks ago we shopped for a new expresso machine at the Bed, Bath and Beyond store. Take in your 20% discount coupon and you will get a great deal.

Overall, we give the Krups XP5220 machine 5 stars. It is a quality made machine and makes good creme (foam). The nicest feature is the automatic tapping and the push-button to pop out the used coffee puck, no longer need to bang the filter holder on the garbage can to get the grinds to fall out.

One word of warning: we found a number of unhappy amazon.com users who had broken the tabs off the steam wand. A customer may not realize that in order to remove the nozzle for cleaning you have to pull the slip ring down and pull straight off which requires a bit of force. If you pry one of the 3 tabs which are in a vulnerable position they will break and then the steam wand may not stay on under pressure. Once you understand the proper removal and installation, it's not a problem. The manufacturer should review this design and make it a bit more robust. Otherwise it is a high quality machine and does a great job.

We benefitted from previous reviewers on the subject and were careful with our steam wand. Once you understand how to properly remove the nozzle it's not a problem. Don't overlook this machine, it is very nicely made and works well.

We've had this espresso machine for just over a month and it works wonderfully.

It's a huge step up from our previous model (XP4030). For one thing, the previous machine was extremely loud and vibrated so badly that it couldn't be left unattended. We expected a bit more noise, and did get used to it, but not being able to turn our back while the coffee was brewing wasn't an option. This machine is much quieter, and there is no vibration. I can leave the room and come back to find the carafe or cup in the same spot I left it.

The coffee does pull slower, but that's not an issue for us.

Secondly, this machine has an auto tamping system. At first I was dubious about that, but now I love it. No more worrying about how far to tamp the grind down, just put it in the holder, put the holder in place, turn it a click or two, and you're ready to go.

If you click too far, not only will the holder be too tight, but the coffee won't flow. If nothing happens after a second or two, simply shut the machine off, release the holder, then click it one turn back. At that point it should work without having to remove any of the grounds (though in the beginning I did have to take a bit out). It takes a little practice, but you do learn how much ground to put in the holder.

The third thing that this machine has over our previous one...NO THIN RUBBER GASKET!! That was a big draw. We had spent quite a bit of money replacing gaskets (from the six month point on), and every other machine that we looked at (and we looked at them all) had the same rubber gasket.

Fourth, Krups finally got wise and encased the metal that was behind the drip tray. No more exposed metal, no more rusting. And instead of a pull out drip tray, the entire piece lifts off for easy emptying.

All of these things made the machine more expensive than our previous one, but it's less expensive than a lot of the brands/models we looked at. And though we're serious about our espresso/Americano's, we're not ready to take the plunge into the machines that cost hundreds of dollars. This is a good alternative (for us anyway).

We've had no problems with the frothing wand. It seems as sturdy as any of the others we've seen.

I will say that with our old machine it was extremely difficult to develop a good froth. With this one, I expected about the same, but then we hadn't purchased the machine for fancy drinks.

That said, this machine makes a fantastic froth and it's very simple to use. I had given up even trying with our previous machine, and whenever I wanted a cappuccino my husband had to do it (with mixed results and never quite as good as our old steam espresso maker).

It's nice to be able to make my own cappuccino's now. :-)

Who knows. I may be back in a few months with some negative comments, but for right now we're enjoying this machine.

*And here I am. Ten months in and we experienced the same problem with this machine as with the less expensive machine. The inner rubber gasket (which isn't visible on this model) failed.

Our first order of business was to find out if replacement parts were available. With none found, and since the machine is still under warranty, we contacted Krups. They would not send a replacement part, but did pay for the machine to be sent to (and returned from) a service center for repair. A few weeks later the machine is back home and in good working condition. With any luck we'll get ten more months of usage before the problem arises again (hopefully longer, but I won't hold my breath). With even more luck, Krups will decide to make replacement parts available to the consumer by the time we need a new gasket. We certainly couldn't afford to mail this machine off every time it needs a new part.

**July 2012

I can now add our machine to the list of those that have blown the foaming wand. Not too long ago I was steaming milk when the wand blew completely off of the machine. The wand ended up in the foaming cup, but the three plastic prongs that hold it in place blew apart and flew across the kitchen.

Thankfully I was only foaming a small amount of milk so had little mess to clean up in that respect.

We've used the foaming wand less than a dozen times.

The part is available through Krups, but seems to be permanently out-of-stock.

I'm getting fed up with home espresso machines.

October 2012

Here I am again, continuing the ongoing diary entries concerning this machine....Sigh.

Last month we noticed a crack in the handle of the grounds cup/holder. It nearly encompasses the entire handle (near the metal cup).

We have never cranked on this handle. Never forced it into place. There is absolutely no reason it should have cracked except for the fact that it's a shoddy plastic part.

We had no problems with our previous Krups model aside from having to replace the rubber gaskets from the six month point on (every three months or so). That was becoming expensive, but seems like little irritation now. That was however why we took the plunge and shelled out more money for what we assumed was going to be a better machine overall. Silly us.

The grounds holder was listed at the Krups website a few days ago as "out-of-stock". When in-stock, it sets the consumer back $30. Today the part is no longer listed. This seems to be a fairly difficult machine to buy replacement parts for, if you can even find them (see the gasket issue above after ten months of ownership).

I'm guessing that translates into a. Krups isn't manufacturing enough parts for the few who need them, or b. so many people are needing parts that they can't keep up with demand. I'm thinking.....b?

No matter. We've repaired the handle with a hose clamp (available at the hardware store or Home Depot) $1.05 vs. $30. It may not be a permanent fix, then again, it may be. It seems sturdier than it did to begin with. The clamp will at least buy us some time until we figure out what to do next.

One thing is for certain, we are finished with Krups. This is one product I would strongly caution, 'buyer beware'.

My rating has been dropped to reflect the problems that we've had with our machine. It still hovers at 3 stars, just barely, and that's only because it does make a great espresso/Americano when all of the parts are in working order.

Buy KRUPS XP5220 Pump Espresso Machine with KRUPS Precise Tamp Technology and Stainless Steel Control P Now

We put this item on our wedding registry, and received it as a gift. The espresso that the machine makes is fantastic. The precise tamp system works very well, and we were super pleased with the espresso and lattes it makes.

HOWEVER, the steam wand is the most fragile, bad design I have ever seen. The steam wand is actually PLASTIC, NOT METAL. There is merely a thin, aluminum cover that surrounds the body of the steam wand, but underneath, and more importantly, at the top of the wand, it is ALL made of plastic. And soft, cheap plastic at that. It's like Krups was trying to save a few bucks in manufacturing by making this part out of cheap plastic instead of steel, which is what it should be made out of.

The wand broke on its own, maybe 6 or 7 times after it was used. Not through some sort of force, or because we handled it too roughly; the wand literally split away from the rest of the machine due to the steam heat coming out of it while we were steaming milk. All of a sudden steam started coming out of the top of the wand, instead of the tip of it, and the milk would not steam. Then the wand fell off. The place where it broke clearly looked like it had partially melted, and just split away from the rest of it where the piece was supposed to be solid.

We took the unit back to the store where we bought it, thinking that this surely must have been due to a manufacturing defect in our unit, since the espresso maker was so well made otherwise. THAT WAS VERY NAIVE OF US. After receiving the replacement unit, we used it again, this time taking EXTRA care in being very gentle with the steam wand. This time, the steam wand worked fine for about 2 months, then all of a sudden the exact same thing happened again. It was CLEARLY the heat causing the plastic to split and separate at the top of the steam wand.

It's a shame Krups got so cheap and decided to make it this way, because otherwise, we LOVED this machine, and we wish it didn't have this problem. But BEWARE, DON'T BUY THIS CHEAPLY MADE MACHINE!

If you have read through the earlier customer reviews, you know that the easily broken milk frother has been the reason to avoid purchasing this product. That has changed. Krups redesigned the frother and is now manufacturing it using a more durable plastic. This new frother is available on all new machines. But it is also available free to those of us who already own one of the older machines.

Call the Krups customer service line, 800-526-5377, and request the replacement frother. The person I spoke with didn't even request proof of purchase. In about ten days the new part arrived. Now I am back to making terrific espresso with this dependable entry-level machine.

Want KRUPS XP5220 Pump Espresso Machine with KRUPS Precise Tamp Technology and Stainless Steel Control P Discount?

After our 10-yr old DeLonghi machine quit working, we wanted another sturdy semi-automatic machine and settled on this Krups model. It feels hefty and well-made compared to others at this price level. After using it for 2 weeks (4 espressos a day), we are very pleased with the design, mostly for how it simplifies working with the coffee grounds. First, you don't need to tamp grounds into the holder the racheting design automatically tamps the grounds as you twist the holder into place. Secondly, after the grounds have been used, the pop-out button simplifies ejecting the used grounds (the "puck") without having to bang the holder on your counter or garbage can. If you want even MORE simplicity, it holds ESE pods, which are readily available (Starbucks 12 for $4.95). We actually use the ESE pods for our decaffeniated espresso. Now, let's talk about that frother, which is the subject of most of these reviews. I experimented with the frother wand and had no problems. It worked well. However, most reviewers talk about the frother wand breaking down after months of use. So LISTEN UP I have a little frother secret to share with everyone. We microwave our milk 90 seconds in a tall container, and then use a Bodum battery-operated mini whisk to create foam Bodum Schiuma Battery-Operated Milk Frother and Salad Dressing Set. Using this method, our frothed milk and espresso are ready simultaneously in about 90 seconds, and we don't have to worry about cleaning dried milk off that frother wand. I love the sturdy efficient Krups machine and feel it's a great value for under $200.

Nespresso C100/B1 Essenza Single-Serve Automatic Espresso Machine, Black

Nespresso C100/B1 Essenza Single-Serve Automatic Espresso Machine, BlackThis was the perfect solution for those weekend mornings when I didn't enjoy Nespresso at the office. Perfect for kitchen at home.

Excellent machine.

The Nespresso capsules -while not the least expensive way to buy coffee -keep the coffee fresh and delicious.

Clean-up is a breeze -no nasty grounds; everything stays inside the capsule, which one simply tosses in the trash.

There are more complex and more expensive models, but this one is perfectly adequate for my needs. In fact, I bought one for the house and another for the office.
