No. 6 Cone Coffee Filter in Natural Brown (Set of 40)

No. 6 Cone Coffee Filter in Natural BrownI have been pleased with Melita coffee filters for years and even more so with the Natural Brown Cone Coffee Filters. I have had trouble getting the 6-Cup size at local stores and appreciate being able to get them through Amazon as a decent price.

Our area suddenly suffered a shortage of the 6 cup size of Melitta Coffee filters. No matter where I searched the shelves we're empty. I found these, ordered them and was relieved when they arrived!

The #6 filters are becoming difficult to find but, you may buy them at Market Basket for $1.29, or Melitta's website for $1.99.

Like everyone else, I have discovered that it is no longer possible to find the number 6 filters in local stores. I do not understand this. I live forty miles from New York City, hardly a wilderness area. However, I was happy to find the filters on Amazon. By combining the filters with another order, I was able to get free shipping.

Is brown better than white? Many people believe that since the brown filters require less processing than the white filters, i.e., white filters are bleached, the brown filters are better environmentally. I will go with that. My experience has been that the brown filters tend to break through more often than the white ones. These seem to be ok, but I do give them an extra fold where they are joined on the side and the bottom.

These are the same and as good as #4 filters, they are just larger. Perfect for my #6 plastic cone-drip coffee maker. Makes enough coffee to fill a quart Thermos.

Bialetti Venus, 6 Cup

Bialetti Venus, 6 CupI've got two Bialetti stainless. I've had this model for probably about 10 years (slightly older version, looks exactly like this except with a metal flipper on the top) . I now use it as my back up model. I make two cups of cappuccino every morning for my wife, and usually two cups in the afternoon Saturday and Sunday as well. I've had no real problems with this pot. I have to replace the washer (seal) between the top and bottom parts of the pot about every 7 or 8 months.

To use this pot effectively, I recommend the following:

1. Use a fine/espresso grind of coffee. You can use a coarser grind, but water rushes through it too fast.

2. Tamp down the coffee in the coffee holder a little bit, but don't get obsessed with it. I suppose if you want pure espresso, go heavy on the coffee and lighter on the water. We always do cappuccino.

3. For speed, pre-heat the water. We use a cordless electric kettle to get the water up to temp quicker before adding it to the pot. Usually I fill it to the point where the coffee holder just hits the water. That way I make the most coffee, without causing the water to flow out when I drop the coffee holder in. Oh, yeah, you'll now need a towel to hold the pot while screwing the pot together since you added hot water to it. I twist it down good and tight.

4. I use high heat on the stove. I get the job done quick. Just make sure the cups are ready. Usually I'm heating milk in the frother in the microwave while the espresso maker is busy making coffee. When the coffee is ready, its ready, and you need to be on top of it, otherwise it will spatter out.

5. Cleaning: When you go to use the coffee maker again, you MUST clean the sealing washer. Otherwise the leftover coffee grounds on it will prevent it sealing for the next time. I use the scrubbing side of a scrunge to get the grounds out of the washer. As you use the pot, the washer will soften up over time, and you'll have to scrub harder to get the grounds out. After a while, I'll flip the washer over and use the other side to seal against the lower half of the pot. It works for a while, but eventually you'll have to replace the washer. I recommend keeping spares on hand.

Every so often (few weeks) I scrub out the lower half of the pot with an sos pad. It gets rid of occasional coffee residue which seeps back down to the lower half and sometimes burns on to the bottom of the lower half of the pot. It can cause a burned taste in the coffee.

Occasionally I've had to pull the filter plate out and "clean" it. Just lift the seal washer to get to it. The problem I've had every once in awhile is grounds plugging the filter plate. If you hold it up to the light, you should be able to see through the holes in the filter plate. If grounds block any of them, just use a needle to poke through the blockage.

I'd guess I've made about 1500 pots of coffee with this espresso pot. I think I've got it pretty well down. Follow the directions above and I think this coffee pot will work for you for a very, very long time.

An Update Concerning Induction: I tested it with a magnet. It indicated that this is pure stainless, i.e. the magnet wouldn't stick, and is thus unsuitable for an induction top. This is the test for all cookware for use with an induction top. If the magnet won't stick, it won't work.

The one feature I especially like about this pot is its wide bottom. It's very stable and doesn't teeter on a gas burner like some others (i.e., the "Ilsa") do. The handle doesn't get burning hot like metal handles can. It has a straightforward design and is easy to disassemble and clean. I have been making stovetop espresso in pots like this for 15+ years and this is one of the most satisfactory pots I have had. A good value.

Buy Bialetti Venus, 6 Cup Now

Use med.-low heat for gas and you are ready in 11 minutes. Make sure the stainless steel filter is always facing in the right direction or the expresso maker will leak. Be aware that they are talking about expresso cups (demitasse 2.5 oz cup) and not the savage sized coffee addicts cup we Americans are use to using. Also, most civilized people add milk at a ratio of 1:1, so if you make five demitasse cups of expresso (12.5 oz.), then your coffee maker should produce around 6 oz. of pure expresso.

The Bialetti espresso maker came on time, in its original Bialetti packaging and with all of the parts unbroken and without any dents or scratches.

I love the look and style of this espresso maker. I have only used it a few times now and the biggest disappointment has been that it doesn't seal properly. Steam comes out of the sides while the water is heating no matter how tightly you close it. Even my husband couldn't get it closed well enough. Maybe it will take some time on this...

The other small disappointment was that I thought it would make more espresso. I was hoping this could function as our coffee-maker (we like it really strong!) so it would have to make enough for two cups of coffee. It looks so large, but the looks are deceiving. While it does make just barely enough for the two of us, if we ever had guests, I would need to wait for it to cool and then make more or buy another one!

Overall it makes yummy coffee and it looks super-cool, but if I had to do it over again, I would have bought the biggest one they make.

I got this as a present. I had used other cheaper modules of the same brand so I was very excited but the threads never matched up and it didnt seal enough to produce anything remotley like coffee let alone espresso. I was very disappointed that this one was so cheaply made that when I called the manufactures they said that becouse I had used it they wouldnt give me another one. I have had success with this manufacture in the past but beware they are hard to get a hold of and not very nice with there customer service.

Espressione 1328 Cafe Dolce Aroma Digital Super-Automatic Espresso Machine

Espressione 1328 Cafe Dolce Aroma Digital Super-Automatic Espresso MachineMy husband has had the Espressione Cafe Dolce Aroma now for over 6 months. We've used it at home, in the office and for parties. It has made hundreds upon hundreds of cups of wonderful espresso coffee beverages. Easy to easy, easy to clean and the performance in incredible for the price.

I recommend this highly.

This machine is easy to use and it does what it sais, used it for almost a year. Very happy with it, the other day was making espressos non-stop for visitors very consistent. It comes with an instructional DVD that shows the function of every button, the cool thing too is that the brewing unit actually comes right out for easy cleanup if need be. Considering that it automatically grinds, apportions, extracts coffee, then it rinses and cleans itself, and it 's easy to program for strength and size i don't know what some are talking about but this thing performs greatly especially considering the price that it comes with. If you want a superautomatic espresso machine that's going to make espresso with a simple push of a button and look great in your kitchen without costing you an arm and a leg, then this Cafe Dolce baby is it!

Buy Espressione 1328 Cafe Dolce Aroma Digital Super-Automatic Espresso Machine Now

I do not agree with the reviews that have been written on this machine. I have the Espressione 1328 Cafe Dolce Aroma. The purchase was made after a friend told me this was designed and made by the company that makes DeLonghi automatic espresso machine. I did not want to spend over $1000.00 for a digital super automatic coffee machine and this machine is perfect. What I like about it is the following:

* Electronic programming of level of coffee per cup

* Easy to use 8 button control panel with quality LED indicators

* Powerful milk frothing device for making perfect Cappuccinos and Lattes

* Removable central unit for easy cleaning and maintenance

* Powerful 1100 Watt heating/brewing/frothing mechanism ensures reliability and quality

* Fully automatic cleaning, rinsing, decalcifying & pre-brew features on machine

* Transparent removable bean container and water tank and a cup warmer on top

* Uses whole coffee beans or ground coffee to make coffee, espressos and cappuccinos

I highly recommend the purchase of this machine. Great reliability, easy to operate and at a very reasonable price.

I've read all the reviews and it would appear that there are a few people who have been victims of poor quality control. That's too bad because this is a great little device.

I'm one of those people who hates to read manuals and just wants to get on with the show. I'm a techie both at work and at home. If you're experienced and generally have no problems with computers and hi-fi equipment, then you should have no problems with this. I can see why the seller stated that it has a slight learning curve because the manual isn't the best or the most straightforward.

I rated 4/5 stars because for it to be perfect, I would have to have the ability to steam milk at the same time as it was brewing my espresso. This is not to say that I don't love the machine, too, though. I bought the machine to replace my routine of going to Tully's in the AM and sometimes in the PM. I'm saving at least $7 in drinks plus the gas required to get it.

Observations:

* it's loud, but if you've ever visited a Tully's or Starbucks, then you'll be used to the sounds an espresso machine makes

* it is indeed made predominantly out of plastic, but what isn't these days? for the price, I was expecting to get mostly plastic

* don't touch the chrome on the steamer! it gets very hot!

I had the same experience as the other reviewer K. Munro. My machine arrived factory sealed, but internal counter was displaying 20 cups. There were also some coffee bean scraps in the grinder. I had absolutely the same problem with machine reporting out of water problem with the full tank of water. I had to restart it every time, loosing the portion of coffee in the process. The internal timer in the machine was gaining extra 10 minutes per every half an hour of real time. Which made the display clock and autostart features useless. The grinder was choking on the lower settings. And on top of all this problems, this machine could not produce espresso. The lukewarm liquid with no creama was not comparable even with gas station coffee.

This machine is huge, absolutely humongous. It barely fits under the kitchen cabinets and in order to add beans or water its needs to be removed from under cabinets. At this time the water tray will fall down because it is nota attached to the machine at all.

I will never ever touch anything that produced by this company.

KRUPS Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso Machine

KRUPS EA8250001 Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso Machine with Built-in Conical Burr Grinder, BlackI just received this Krups Espresseria automatic machine. I have a Jura ENA 4 at my work so I will try to make some comparisons to them. The Jura is about the same price and they both have very similar features. I was so excited when I found out I would be receiving this Krups machine so that I can make my cappuccino at home too! I am a coffee fool so I make alot. With winter coming up this will be well used. Ok I have been using the Jura for some time at my work and it has been a very nice machine and is easy to setup, clean, and use. The Krups is no exception here as it is very easy to setup. Just fill the water container, bean hopper, set language, ML or OZ for liquid measurement, water hardness and ready to go. I use beans I buy here on Amazon. They are eight Oclock brand 50 % decaf. I chose the fine grind setting and brewed my first Cappuccio in less than a minute and the froth was superb. The coffee taste and strength is every bit as good as the Jura maybe alittle stronger with the Krups. I like that the machine is fully programable for different fill levels of coffee. You can fill one or two cups at a time. The nozzle height can be adjusted for taller cups but will not accommodate tall cups without sliding the drip tray out. The Jura can accommodate tall glasses no problem. The steam wand worked very well with no mess and produced a very nice froth and is fully adjustable for many positions. I really liked the spill tray as it has a float in it that rises to let you know when it is full. The Jura does not have this. Both machines come with a water filter to help reduce the bad flavors and reduce machine descaling frequency. The both come with a starter pack of cleaning tablets. As with any coffee espresso machine it will need cleaning to keep the flavor and machine working properly. It looks like the Krups requires less frequent cleaning. Both the frothing nozzles need cleaning frequently. All in all this is a very nice machine that will see alot of use. Oh yeah I was kind of surprised when I opened the box and noticed a small amount of coffee grinds in the machine. I called Krups customer service and was promptly advised that the machines grinders are tested during the assembly. I found no mention of this in the owners info so I was surprised but it is very nice to know that the machines are quality tested before shipping them out. Oh I should note that Jura does mention in there instructions that small traces of coffee grinds may be found in there machines for the same reason. Well I will try to make some comparisons now.

The Krups you can only use whole beans and no preground coffee.

The Jura has a bypass doser that allows you to use preground coffee.

The Jura does not come with a milk container and must be bought separately for about 80-100 dollars.

The Krups does come with its own stainless steel milk container even though it is not mentioned or shown in any of the pictures. I was really hoping it did come with it. Yeah!!

The Krups is made in France and not Mexico or China.

The Jura has a removable bean container.

The Krups does not have a removable bean container so no quick swapout of beans. Must run them all trough machine.

They both hold about the same amount of old grind cakes at 14.

The Jura needs to be cleaned every 180 cycles.

The Krups needs to be cleaned every 360 cycles. Big plus here!

The Jura takes about 44 minutes on the cleaning cycle.

The Krups take about 22 minutes on the cleaning cycle.

Both have an energy saving mode that is programable.

Both can be changed from ML to Oz for fluid measurement.

Both Krups and Jura come with a 2 year or 6000 cup warranty.

My likes about the Krups are slightly stronger coffee than the Jura.

Less frequent cleaning demands with the Krups.

Krups comes with its own Stainless milk container so you can fill it and put back in fridge when not using. The Jura you must purchase the milk container for 8-100 dollars.

Krups has a drip tray float to remind you when it needs cleaning out.

The Krups costumer service department was very quick and responsive when I called them. Oh yeah and they were all American so I could understand them.

The Krups has a better look for a home than does the Jura in my opinion.

I like being able to see how full the bean container is on the Krups without looking down in it unlike the Jura.

My dislikes abouth the Krups are no removable bean container. So when you want to change coffee beans to another brand you must cycle them through where as the Jura you can remove the bean container and empty it out.

Cannot use preground coffee as an option where as you can on the Jura.

The Krups nozzle does not raise as high as I would like to accommodate taller cups but can if you slide the drip tray out first.

So bottom line would I recommend the Krups Espresseria machine??? Yes I defiantly would!!!

UPDATE:

Ok so I have been using it for some time now and love it more than ever!! My wife too!! When just making a good old fashioned coffee the creama is so rich and yummy. I love it. I am still experimenting with all the minor adjustments you can make to custom tailor it but so far I like the grind set on very fine for a very robust flavor but not bitter at all. I am also loving the included milk container for the milk froth. It is very nice to be able to just fill it, use it, then put back in the fridge when done. Jura makes you pay extra for there milk container so nice job Krups!! Well just wanted to give an update as to how things are going here. Thanks

We're a 2-3 cup a day coffee household. This doesn't include all of the weekly trips to the coffee shop while at work for more specialized drinks. Prior to getting this espresso maker we simply brewed flavored coffee at home with cheap and disposable coffee makers. We were of course overjoyed to welcome the Krups EA8250001 Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso and coffee Machine into our kitchen. Here are my thoughts;

Pros

+ All in one unit. Stores, grinds, brews and disposes of your coffee. No outside water lines needed.

+ Stainless Steel milk frothing bottle provided. Very nice!

+ Auto clean/rinse cycle. Only needs complete cleaning once every 360 cycles!

+ Modern and sleek black look. Also, very compact in size for an espresso machine.

+ Easy to use digital interface and quick set up.

+ Water proof service guide stored inside a side slot of the machine.

+ Steamer nozzle also dispenses hot water for tea/hot chocolate drinkers.

+ Extremely quick brew time. Less than 2 minutes.

+ Energy efficient and has an auto-off timer.

+ Made in France (not Taiwan or China like many products today).

+ 2 year or 6,000 cup warrantee.

+ Machine alerts you on all cleaning/replacement functions.

+ Tool provided for easy installation of the unit's water filter. Especially useful if you have larger hands.

Cons

Incredibly expensive.

Milk frothing bottle and attachments are a bit cumbersome to use and clean.

Water filters are $18-20 each and need to be replaced every two months.

Unable to use flavored or pre-ground coffee. There's no bypass chamber to change beans. Once your coffee is in the machine it's in there until you use it.

Frother is rather rigid and has limited flexibility. It's also difficult to use on a countertop, especially with larger mugs. You need to have it on the counter edge to even get a larger cup out.

Can be rather noisey, especially early in the morning. Water tank can rattle quite a bit when brewing the coffee.

Clock display doesn't stay on when you're not using the machine.

Water dispenser tray platform is a bit small and while the coffee nozzles do raise, it's not really enough for larger coffee mugs.

Some crucial pieces of the machine are plastic (coffee nozzles, parts of the frother etc.). I would prefer them to be metal as the plastic feels like it could crack from the heat.

The Krups EA8250001 Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso and coffee Machine is something most people would never buy but would love to receive it as a gift. I'm sure there are many of these machines on wedding registries from couples with crossed fingers. For the price this machine should definitely be considered an investment. Spending this much on an espresso machine is difficult to justify. However, if you can afford the purchase price it definitely does what it's supposed to. I can absolutely say that I'm the envy of all my coffee drinking coworkers and friends. I know our household will get many years of use out of it.

This could seriously be the best thing I have ever purchased. It is expensive, but man, it is great to wake up and push 3 different buttons a total of 5 different times and have an excellent cup of cappuccino. It could not be easier. Set up is a breeze. The machine tells you when you need water or a new filter. You can see the coffee beans. There is no mess to clean up. When it is time to empty the spent grounds (about every 10-15 cups) a message comes on, you pull out a side drawer, dump it in the trash, empty and rinse the water tray and ... voila.

We bought this assuming that it would not replace our regular drip coffee maker. But we completely stopped using the coffee maker and instead have cappuccino or cafe creme every day. The automatic cappuccino foamer is really quite clever and easy to clean. We have found that you need milk fat to make a decent foam so use whole milk or add a little 1/2 n 1/2 to whatever reduced fat milk you use and it will make a good foam. It takes a few experiments to see how long you need to let the steam run to get the right amount of milk foam to mix with the strong espresso. We have finally landed on 15 seconds. The machine always comes back to whatever setting you used last, so once you get a setting you like you can pretty much just push a few buttons and your coffee is ready in less than 2 minutes from the time you power up the machine.

It pays to experiment with beans also. We use a mix of 1/2 decaf cafe Britt which is nice and dark and adds an earthy flavor, and 1/2 regular caf Lavazza Super Crema because that seemed to be a consensus good espresso bean. The Lavazza is a medium roast. So now we have the coffee we like, and cappuccinos better than any we can get in a restaurant or coffee shop (always way way too much milk). I am confident we would never use a manual machine. My hats off to people who do. If you are like me and want a great espresso, cappuccino or cafe noisette every day, you will love this machine

This is the best super automatic espresso machine out there based on my own, super-nerdy formula: "(rich flavor * ease of use) / cost." Dorky, yes, but you're talking to someone who came up with decisionking.com and previously has used a one-touch Tassimo machine in USA, one-touch Philips machine in Spain, and a few other cheap espresso machines including the manual kind. I am a resident of Spain and a US citizen, so I appreciate a good european style "cafe con leche."

The advantages of this Krups machine are that: 1) it's the most compact machine, 2) it's very simple to operate 3) it has the lowest cost of the different super automatic brands (as of 10-26-2011), 4) and it can use oily beans unlike the other different brands of machines. 5) Also, it runs the longest between cleaning cycles (360 cycles) compared to the other brands. The resulting coffee is, of course, rich and smooth and full of flavor. That being said, it is important to note that coffee flavor seems to be more related to the quality/freshness of coffee beans used rather than the machine itself.

The disadvantages of this Krups machine are its high cost (relative to my cheap coffee machines before) and no bypass doser. But both of these disadvantages are minimal especially when you compare the Krups cost to the other super automatic espresso machines. On the other hand, a bypass doser is important for that quick decaf, one would want to make for late night after dinner.

Bottom line is: I'd give this device 4.5 stars since it does not have the bypass doser. But if you want an easy to use, minimal maintenance, one-touch espresso machine, that is compact and costs the least of the super automatics then I think this Krups is the machine you want to invest in.

Want KRUPS Espresseria Full Automatic Espresso Machine Discount?

So, I've had this machine for about a month now, and I'll echo much of what others have said: it makes an awesome cup of espresso (especially if you've got good quality espresso roasted beans, but that goes without saying). The fully automatic nature of the machine makes it a dream to easily get a good cup of coffee, and I'm fiendishly excited that I can reduce my outlays to Starbucks.

The one "complaint" that I had about the machine was that the auto milk attachment didn't get hot enough (i.e. it got up to around 110 degrees F), so I started nuking my coffee to get it to a good "americanized" coffee temperature. But, I found a solution: when you hit the steam button and the milks starts pouring into your cup, pinch the plastic tube so that it sputters--this will allow more steam to get into the mix, thereby heating up the milk more. The result? Milk that gets to about 140 degrees F!! Perfect stuff. Also, BTW--I've successfully used almond milk from the start, so if you want to go healthy and tasty, then you have a good non-dairy, non-soy option. Cheers and enjoy!

Hamilton Beach 48464 Brewstation Summit 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker

Hamilton Beach 48464 Brewstation Summit 12-Cup Programmable CoffeemakerLike many of those who wrote reviews, I also owned previous models of the H.B. Brew Station. They were hard to fill without spilling some water. They wore out after two/three years of constant use with very little upkeep by me. They earned their keep. I bought a H.B. Summit 12 cup last week; and before setting it up, I went to this site to check some reviews for suggestions and help on what I might encounter with the new brewer. (This approach is backwards, I know) Had I read the reviews beforehand, I would never have purchased the product. Comments like very messy, cannot see how much coffee is being dispensed, coffee drips all over, can only use a paper cup, coffee is not hot hard to program............... good grief!!!

Here's what this 71 year old man experienced in his first week with the "POT" I used the old gold mesh filter I used on prior brewer. Makes the same very good cup of coffes as others before it. I plugged it in, yes, a short plug. filled it to 12 cups, found it much easier to fill than prior machine; Set warming time, pushed "ON" It brewed quickly, I pushed my large thick ceramic cup against the fill bar and watched it fill quickly with hot coffee! no spills, no chills. There was no dripping from the spout. Yes, there was some water vapor coming from the top of te brewer, I and my wife are having NO problems with the machine, Really, people!! This, by the way, is my first ever review of a product. I felt it necessary to respond to the bum rap this product was getting. No, I don't work for, or own stock in H.B Co.

The electrical cord is 25 inches long to the very tip of the metal prongs. Otherwise 24.5 inches cord length including the plug part you hang onto. Leaving you 24 inches for the cord itself. Our previous Brewstations all had this same length of electrical cord. This model does not have a turntable on the bottom. The only time we needed turntables were on older Brewstations that had to have the water poured into the base from a certain side to avoid spilling or to aid in viewing the fill level markings. This model has ALL the previous fill markings and some new ones. Very handy for older eyes. The MAXIMUM coffee mug height is 7 inches if you hold the mug vertically. (If you hold your mug at a angle and use your finger to dispense against the mechansim you can fill anything.) 7 inches is plenty tall for all the standard travel/commute mugs holding 16 oz. The lid does dribble all over the place when you take the Brewstation apart for cleaning or making another pot. Just remember to lift the lid slowly and tap it with vibration as you open it. You will leave condensation water from the lid running down the back of the Brewstation about the volume of a 50 cent piece. The lid cannot be removed. You can wipe up the spilled water by simply running a sponge, papertowel, etc around the back. Remember, this is water and not coffee. If you position a papertowel at the hinge you prevent problems. The Brewstation does dispense/dribble down the back of your coffee mug once in awhile. The first time you notice this and before your next pot of coffee you clean the pot out and then fill with a few inches of clean water, lift the pot so you can see under it where the coffee dispenses and manually trigger the release mechanism to allow it to flush coffee grinds out. End of dribbling. There is a domed filter screen permanently attached at the point where the coffee leaves during dispensing. This lets small particles of coffee get by apparently get into the valve seat. Brewstations make GREAT coffee. House guests almost always end up buying their own. ALWAYS buy the latest model Brewstation with the highest numberic model number as you get the latest features that way and improvements and fixes. LOVE the Brewstation.

Purchased to replace our Brewstation Deluxe, which we absolutely loved! The only reason we did not purchase another one exactly like our old one is because of the leaking problem. About 1x/year we would need to replace the 'carafe' portion of the coffeemaker. The Summit was the 3rd replacement model we tried. It is the only other model that has all of the features that the Deluxe had (programmable auto shut-off & timer, brewing cycle selection). I agree with the previous post that it is a bit more awkward to fill. But, the biggest problem I have with it is the coffee basket. It has about 50 holes in the bottom for the water/coffee to flow out of the basket. The result is a very weak-tasting coffee because it flows through so quickly. I can't understand why this model is made like this when other models have only one hole! There is no way to even use enough coffee to get a strong flavor, even when putting it on 'Bold' setting, which slows down the brewing cycle. I figured out how to solve this problem by purchasing a permanent filter basket to use inside the other basket, plus using a paper filter. This adds to the awkwardness of the whole process, but we are so hooked on this style of machine that are willing to put up with it. It is also messier than the Deluxe because of all of the condensation inside. When you lift the lid water runs down (but mostly back into the carafe), and when you take out the basket there is condensation all over it and it drips trying to get it to the trash or sink. I also just noticed one of the buttons to set the time is sticking. Well, maybe I should go back to the Deluxe...

I'm a mother of three kids, ages 6 and under, so needless to say, coffee has become pretty important around our house! My brother-in-law has an older model of the brewstation, and I have always loved using it at their house. I love that it has no carafe to clean or break, and the unit itself only needs to be cleaned once a month.

My coffee is always piping hot, and stays hot for up to 4 hours after brewing. The program feature works great every time. And I'm really not sure why so many people are having problems getting the coffee from the spout into their cups. I have never had even a drip of coffee spill while filling my mug. I tend to be a slow coffee drinker, and use a travel mug most of the time. Even with a thick walled mug I have not experienced any problems.

I have had some condensation water spill when I lift the lid, but I had that with my old coffee pot, too. And being in the kitchen, I grab a towel or a sponge and just wipe it up. Not a problem, in my opinion.

I am having trouble understanding why the brewstation is getting such poor reviews. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. I really love it that much!

Ok, so I did some research before buying this at my local target. Wow. There are so many negative reviews, that I almost didn't buy it. I wanted something that can do Ice Coffee, hot Coffee. So I ignored the negative reviews, and went with this one. I'm totally shocked at how people can be so damn picky. First off. This does everything I need it to. Some of the complaints were the spout to close to the back of the maker, so it drips? How thick of mugs are you using people? I have never had any problems with the design. I have ZERO drips in the drip catcher.

I love how easy it is. It's super convenient to use. I love that the "bucket" comes out to fill it with ice. That's awesome. I love how easily it is to fill a cup up without the pot. Of course when it's low (under 2 cups) it's going to pour out slow. It's gravity that is making this pour. So when it's low. It's less pressure/gravity people.

I hate people that want the quality of a 200 coffee maker, for 50 bucks. Imagine why our economy is so bad, you cheap butts!

I love this coffee maker. I think the price is awesome. But I wasn't expecting much after all these reviews. But I have to say. This is an awesome coffee maker. I've had it over a month and there hasn't been one thing I hate about it.

Enjoy!
