Who should buy this? Someone looking for more consistency to their steamed milk in their coffee beverages.

My only complaint with it is the size, it is rather tall and sticks out the top of my pitcher. The sensor is also located about 2" from the end (there is a little dimple in the shaft), so it is actually outside of the cold milk (when I used 8 oz in my frothing pitcher). However, it still works well, as the temperature transmits up the metal shaft rapidly, but it would be more accurate if the sensor portion were immersed in the milk.

I would still buy this thermometer again, but I might look for a shorter version of it.

Love this thermometer. I use it for making lattes, getting milk the right temperature for yogurt, to testing meat for proper internal temps. However pay attention to the length of this thermometer. It's quite long and can be awkward at times trying to keep it in the right place, as it often hits the bottom of the container making it hard to keep clipped in the desired place.

A must have for cappuccino/latte drinkers. The thermometer is durable and the clip can be adjusted to the proper height to fit in your stainless steel frothing pitcher. Just squeeze the clip together and it slides to proper height (so the tip of the thermometer doesn't rest on the bottom of the pitcher). Stays in place nicely during the frothing process. The red zone lets you know when the milk is the perfect temp. So easy!

This thermometer is the worst product that I have purchased in a long time. Lets see where to begin. The sheath supplied with the thermometer does not fit it. It is impossible to insert the thermometer into the sheath as the sheath is too tight. As the sheath is also the tool to recalibrate the thermometer this renders recalibration impossible. More importantly, the instrument is not well made to begin with. As you are frothing milk, the thermometer sticks or hangs. The needle will lodge for a period of time and then jump instead of exhibiting a smooth rate of climb as would be expected with an analog instrument. Don't waste your money on this cheezy offering. It is one thing to buy an inexpensive quality product. It is quite another to buy a cheaply made inferior product. This is an inferior product.

I use my beverage thermometer daily... actually 2X per day. I love my thermometer!

I could live with the dial steaming up and having to wait till it 'un-steamed' to be able to read. I could live with the small dial. I could live with having to recalibrate every other week.

What I could NOT live with was it deciding to no longer register temperatures acurately AT ALL. After 3 months, suddenly it now spikes and pegs the dial on LESS THAN BOILING WATER. no temperatures are accurate any longer.

DeLonghi KG79 Electric 12-Cup Burr Grinder, Black

Just bought this a few days ago after reading and looking extensively. Used initially for only espresso and so far, so good. Next weekend it will get it's chance to show what it can do with french press. The fine setting yields consistently fine grounds. The reservoir for beans and ground coffee are both generous and hold enough to keep you 'jumpy' for quite a while. The smallest yield is 2 cups but that's too much for one espresso. It would be nice to yield just enough for one double espresso shot but that's a minor quibble. The machine does not vibrate or spray coffee grounds and you don't have to hold anything down while in operation. It's much quieter than the Krups blade grinder I've used for years and quieter than most others I've seen even much higher priced items. I also have the DeLonghi espresso machine so visually they make a nice pair.

This grinder has the usual problem with plastic grinders. It builds up static electricity and the coffee both sticks to the grind holder and will also fly all over you and the counter. The square holder makes it unusually difficult to extract the coffee.

The range of fine to course doesn't generate course enough coffee for a French press. Be careful to follow the instructions for pre-cleaning and putting back the components. It needed a clean prior to use.

I've been using this grinder for a few weeks for my daily espresso. It's reasonably priced and works well, very easy to use. To make less than the minimum 2 cup setting, just hit the stop/start button. It usually takes about eight seconds to grind the perfect amount for a double-shot in my espresso maker.

Great Coffee Grinder! Works great, the only thing is it creates a little static in the plastic coffee grounds box. Not bad just tap it a little and most all of it falls off the sides. My coffee taste so fresh now and smooth. For a normal coffee maker I set it at one click to the right of medium. This seems to be perfect. The timer you just have experiment with. It sits still when it's grinding. All I can say is this is a great grinder. I also have their espresso maker and work perfect also. DeLonghi Great Company!

Coffee Pot Cleaning Brush

This brush was a bit more than the others but is worth every penny. It is sturdy and works like a dream. Excellent product to clean out the Bunn Coffee pots. Would recommend it to anyone who has a Bunn Coffee pot or one that is similar.

This brush is perfect for cleaning the upper and lower parts of the Yama coffee maker. I am sure it would be perfect for any spherical coffee pot.

I had to bend the very tip of the brush into more of a circle to make it go in and out of the pot easier. The machine that forms the bend leaves an inch or so of the end of the brush straight. You can see this in the picture of the brush on the product page here. This would cause binding when I was putting it in or taking it out. This put a little more stress on the glass than I liked. Once I put a slight bend in the end with pliers, it slips in and out of the pot with ease.

Works as described. This brush is more of a commercial than home kitchen quality. What I like about this brush is its stiff metal core that holds the bristles in place. Accordingly, this brush is not adjustable. The core will not bend during cleaning. This enables a solid contact with the coffee pot's interior surface. I have a Bunn glass coffee pot and this brush fits it perfectly. The only suggestion I can make is the same one that another reviewer has mentioned regarding the thickness or density of the bristles. Although the bristles on this brush seem to suffice, thicker or slightly stiffer bristles may work better in instances of stubborn stains. However, thicker or denser bristles could hamper easy insertion of the brush into the small openings of most coffee pots. Bottom line, I'm glad I bought it and am satisfied with this purchase.

I bought the Frabosk 8 3/4" and the 5 5/8" plate for use with my Electrolux Induction Range.

Pro's: They're very nice looking and very well made

Con's: Although they work, they don't work well. The heat transfer is v...e...r...y sloooooow! I could not get the toast for a grilled cheese to brown. I could boil water slowly. And the handles go through and are unusable while heating which kind of makes the handles useless.

The diffuser plate is costly (which is why I got the smaller size though I wish I had the larger) but still cheaper than replacing all my favorite pots which otherwise couldn't be used with my induction cooktop.

I bought this in hopes that I could use my noninduction compatiable cookware with the newly purchased NuWave induction burner. Turns out that is just a piece of stainless steel that does not effectively transfer the heat. Save your money and just buy some induction compatiable cookware.

I just got this espresso maker in and I am very pleased with it. I have always purchased them cheaply at TJMaxx or Marshall's in the past, so I am used to pouring the coffee over the sink or having a hard time unscrewing the top to clean it...but this one is much better. The top closes smoothly and there was absolutely no leaking. I suppose if you are used to pricier espresso makers, you may have more complaints, but for me, this one works great!

This unit provides a large amount of great tasting espresso. For those who need to cater for multiple persons, or for the hopelessly caffeine dependent. It does exactly what it's supposed to and there have been no signs of significant flaws. Complaints about build quality and price may have some validity, but I see no real issues. I am very satisfied with this espresso maker. It makes very good coffee and is fairly solid. The one complaint I have about the construction is that the handle is plastic and feels cheaply attached. I take care of it, but I still fear that after prolonged use the handle may come off or break.

The pot is easy to clean and separates into 3 parts for washing it out.

I have no regrets about this purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for an economical way to manually brew a decent cup of espresso.

Continental Electric 4-Cup Coffee Maker, White

This coffee maker does make coffee, so it lives up to its name. An annoyance is that the placement of the lid causes all the condensation to drip on the counter rather than back into the reservoir. My bigger concern is that after 5 months of twice-daily use, the machine still has a strong plastic smell, and the taste of plastic comes through in some coffees. Yet I continue to use the coffee maker, so it must not be too bad, but next time I'll spring for something better.

I enjoy my coffee from this cute 4-cup coffee maker. It smells and tastes just like good coffee you bought from a local coffee shop. I wish it has a longer extension cord though.
