LOVE MY Starbucks Verismo 580 Brewer Silver.

The serving sizes are unbelievably small. A latte (espresso pod + milk pod) will fill a normal coffee mug about 1/3 of the way. I further decided that instead of having to use four total pods to fill the mug, I would try just running each pod twice. This served to fill the mug, however the flavor was an unsurprisingly poor, watered down, journey of sadness. The milk pods alone (even when only used once) are quite watery and flat tasting. At around 1$ per pod, it's really not worth it to use this machine at all.

we love this machine,we are addicted to it..

but it did BREAK after 2 weeks and we returned it. Nespresso sent us a replacement machine without even asking us to send back the other one. the new machine arrived in about a week. now all seems fine.

With just a few days before Christmas, I've been running around all day looking for Nespresso capsules to go with this gift my daughter requested (and I bought through Amazon). At this point, she'll get the Nespresso maker, but if the capsules are so inconvenient to find, I expect it will be returned. She used one when she was living in the UK last summer and loved it maybe the capsules are easier to find there. The frustrating thing for me is that I've found the Nespresso maker at a couple of stores today, they just don't sell the capsules unlike some competitors on the market.

I bought the machine and it did good expresso for a month.

After that started leaking everywhere. Every time I did a coffee it was a mess.

And forget about the delonghi service. A disaster

I have been through three of these machines. One worked great for about 2 years then a cheap plastic piece on the filter handle and it would not seal and the other two acted up only after after two months of use! The seal on the coffee filter gets loose and this the espresso just drips out (if at all) and tastes bad. I would never get another Delounghi machine. I guess I like giving things a chance and using what I know but I've certainly learned my lesson on this piece of crap machine.

This is the best (so far) machine I have owned. It makes great espresso and nice froth. It is a little fussy about using only the "perfect grind", but once I figured this out, is good. The frothing wand works OK, but personally, I'd prefer one without the fancy air mixer. I was a little disappointed that a great Italian coffee machine maker would ship their product to PRC (China) for manufacture.

Philips Saeco HD8751/47 Intellia Focus Automatic Espresso Machine

The hopper seems to jam up pretty often--even using dry beans--because of the safety device they've added (a little dome with holes in it). Consequently, about every 3 or 4 cups it will think it has filled the chamber with enough coffee when it hasn't, giving you weaker-than-green-tea coffee. So, AT YOUR OWN RISK, read the following......

To avoid the empty chamber problem, you simply have to bend/clip off the little plastic safety guards that hang down from the safety guard, and voila, it makes awesome drinks! Once you do this, you will love this machine. BUT of course, then you must be absolutely, positively sure to keep fingers and children away from the hopper/grinder, and you do this at your own risk. Obviously, a finger in the grinder would mean serious injury, or heck, even death I suppose......

Saeco, if you are reading this, please fix your hopper safety device so that your machine works properly.

I was pleased with the look of this one. After having to part with my Hamilton beach that quit heating the coffee properly and began leaking.

Well.... spent more money on this and after about a month it quit heating too. Not sure if its probs with on demand styles or what but what a bummer. Now I need to take this one back and I guess Ill have to move backwards to a regular pot brewer.

We purchased this machine to use in a 13 person office, and everyone loves it. Very easy to maintain and the coffee tastes great. My only complaint is that Jura does not provide a very useful manual for this machine. You can download one online on their website, but it is for two different models and can be confusing. If you are looking for a high quality machine for less $$ this is for you!
